Since training with Sophie my confidence has grown ten fold, I was so scared at the idea of walking into a gym and now I look forward to heading to the gym and following my plan. The workout plans mean I don’t have to think about what to do next, it’s already set out for me along with weights/reps entered from previous workouts so I know where I’m at for each movement. I’ve lost around 10kg in weight and learned so much about nutrition (I knew nothing!) Every 6-12 weeks we go through how the previous period has been and can set new goals, do measurements if I want to, create habits which can be worked through on the app. I’m really happy with the service I receive, and all from a private gym setting which feels way really relaxed, yet I am pushed in every session. I have weekly check ins with Soph where I can address areas I may be struggling in, and I am given the opportunity to say if I’m not enjoying something in my programme (I’ve never done this as I have consistently enjoyed my programme throughout my time training with Sophie) Sophie makes me accountable, and training with her has me motivated to go workout- which I didn’t know was possible! Sophie is really knowledgeable and a great PT! I've been training with her for 2+ years and I feel like I'm the strongest and fittest I ever been! I still surprised myself with PBs that I didn't know I was capable of. The training is bespoke, challenging and easy to follow. What I like the most is that is one aspect of my life I don't have to plan for. I show up at the gym, open the app and my training is there to follow. There's a degree of flexibility that you can substitute some exercises if it's particularly busy. But I literally just have to show up. And Sophie taught me discipline and consistency really pays off. It has indeed! During 121 sessions, Sophie will explain the moves and give you extra cues so you know what to look for/what muscles to squeeze and how to position yourself. These are priceless! I have made amazing progress physically, I am definitely stronger and fitter. The progress I have made in the way my body looks is way more than I thought would be possible in this time, I am so much happy mentally because of this. I am also so much happier when I am training and eating better which I have been able to do thanks to having you as a PT! You give the absolute best support! Lending me equipment for during lockdown aswell as adapting all my sessions to home workouts so I could continue training really helped me carry on when I couldn't come to the gym. Also offering to do face to face and zoom sessions was amazing! I have worked with Sophie for two months so far, starting with remote sessions on Zoom during lockdown, and then subsequently in the gym. She quickly worked out my key goals and put together a clear exercise and nutrition plan in order to achieve them. The training sessions themselves are well structured, each point is clearly explained and timely feedback is provided to ensure correct technique. Outside of sessions, Sophie is always available to answer any questions and provide support if needed. For the time I have been seeing Sophie for personal training sessions I have found her to be approachable, patient and very encouraging. I like the fact that she will tailor programs to suit me, the workouts have helped my injuries and I can see the progress plus she is helping me work toward my goals. Lockdown has been challenging and keeping up with my sessions with Sophie has really helped my physical and mental health even the virtual sessions were a great help. They have helped me still make progress and although I have decided to try and maintain my weight as a more realistic goal it means when I'm ready I can make a plan and set a goal to lose weight. Sophie really challenges me and she knows my capabilities. I have been working with you for less than a year but I have never been satisfied like now. Your sessions really helped me sooo much and increase my confidence (especially my arms ). You are really a great PT, and people always tell me that PT costs too much and you do not need to get a PT, just go to the gym and open YouTube. NOW I regret every second that I did not have one like you because you really want the best for your client. During the quarantine time, your sessions help me so much and I am always looking for it. Your challenge sessions are great as well, especially when I sit at home and I can not go outside. Your support during this was amazing. Taking up sessions with Sophie has been one of the best decisions I have made in recent times. At the beginning I found it hard (because of my poor fitness) and what I like about Sophie is that she understood my fitness level and catered my sessions so that I was slowly but gradually improving. She has helped me lose 25kgs; my target weight seems achievable now. The sessions are hard and every sessions feels harder than the previous. I have gone from being out of breath walking a few hundred metres to climbing 3 flights of stairs without being out of breath. "When lockdown happened my worse fear was not getting enough exercise and over eating whilst at home, but with your help I've managed to lose 9lbs in weight as well as a dress size. You have encouraged me by always responding to my messages when I've lost motivation or had a bit of a glitch as well as the thumbs up every time I've walked or done a work out. It has all made a big difference and I really appreciate it a lot.

When I first met Sophie and started a training programme with her my aim was just to lose weight and I expected to just do cardio, however Sophie introduced me to weight training and a way to track to my food and nutrition. Since then I have not only lost over 2 stones in weight but gained more muscle, more strength and far more stamina that I ever thought I had. My whole mindset to food and exercise has changed and I have Sophie to thank for that!

My physical progress is evident, getting back to lifting weight I was before lockdowns and my injury - for more reps as well! There has been no major comeback of my injury either, so I'm grateful that my earlier workouts were planned to take that into consideration, despite me wanting to go full speed ahead. Some of the physical progress I am seeing, I can't believe it's me achieving these things! Aesthetic differences have come with the above, I can see I have more defined muscles which I have come to really like. Especially with my poor history with body image, it is great to have had a female trainer who is strong af and I could talk to about my training both in conjunction and separate to aesthetics. My mental progress feels like the biggest difference. When I first went in for my diagnostic session, I was so anxious to just walk through the gym and couldn't get my words out at first! Now I can enter a gym on my own, conduct a session on my own, and even ask people to give me their kit.

Simply put, Sophie is a knowledgeable and professional personal trainer who I recommend you get in touch with if you are wanting to see a positive change in your health or fitness lifestyle. She clearly takes her work and clients seriously, so is proactive to adapt workout plans to ability, injuries, and whatever may be possible on the day! Sophie’s workouts are clear, effective and, above all, enjoyable! She makes it easy to track your progress and get comfortable with working particular muscles in various forms – so much so, I have found myself looking forward to tricep dips, which is not something I planned coming into this training. The support and resources that come with Sophie’s training are great – help and advice with nutrition, motivation and weekly & monthly reviews to reassess your goals. Her approach doesn’t revolve around ‘all or nothing’ so her support makes those days that you don’t quite reach targets so much easier to recover from and improve on. Plus, her general calm and friendly nature made it a lot easier to take that first step into personal training. I had significant anxiety around working out in a gym, so during training with Sophie I would still have episodes of panic that she dealt with gracefully, patiently and always without judgement. After 7 months of personal training sessions, I can now go to the gym on my own, conduct a session on my own and even approach others for their kit – so physical progress isn’t the only reward from these sessions!
